Fear of going back to school in students
The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) eventually issues comprehensive advice on the reopening of schools and colleges around the country. After a long dialogue with the ministry for health organizations and all State ministers, they took the decision.
But still, because of the Covid-19 pandemic states such as Delhi and Maharashtra have agreed not to reopen schools. We see now that people are seeking to return to normal life again, but somewhere they still have fear of coronavirus. Likewise, students want to go to school, learn, enjoy themselves with friends. But the emergence of the coronavirus (COVID 19) triggers more fear and worries.
The education has never been for the material. It also deals with the welfare and development of students. As schools reopened during the COVID-19 pandemic in the country, the emphasis was on constructing physically healthy environments through social distancing, mask-wearing, and hand washing. However, physically shielding students does not ensure the psychological well-being of students.
In a situation like this where covid-19 cases are decreasing now can’t we wait for some more time until we get a permanent solution for this coronavirus? We all should think about this, Are we ready to send our children to schools and colleges?
